2. After solder stock is melted, adjust the temperature to
suggested temperature range of “300~350℃"(between
4~9 scale).
Note:
①. Temperature too high will cause premature solder
pot aging, melted solder will become black or
yellow. If flux has highly acidic substances, the
solder pot will be corroded.
②. Keep the solder crucible full during use.
Do not
permit an empty pot to fully heat; this will damage
the unit.
3. Disconnect the pot when not in use.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the solder pot does not work when
powered on, please
check the power cord first. Otherwise, please contact your
local supplier.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. Before cleaning, please make sure the solder pot has
cooled down and the power is disconnected.
2. Always use a dry or moist towel to clean the pot, do not
use wet towel. Please do not use any strong or
inflammable cleaners such as petrol, paint thinner,
turpentine or similar cleaning agents which might contain
chemical substances, it will cause damage to the metal
parts of the unit.
3. Please do not block its ventilation holes or hinder its heat
dissipation to prevent overheating.
4. Occasionally remove accumulated oxides from inner
walls and bottom of pot.
5. Solder will corrode solder pot gradually, a daily check is
highly recommended to avoid any liquid leakage from the
holes and accidents from occurring.
