5. After the zero s captured, the requred span calbraton
weght n the selected unt s dsplayed.
6. Place the calbraton weght on the platform and press
ON/ZERO Off button. The dsplay wll agan show “-C-”.
7. After span capture, the dsplay wll return to the normal
weghng mode.
NOTE: The message “CAL E” wll appear f an ncorrect calbraton weght
was appled. Repeat the procedure usng the correct calbraton weght.
Calibration Locking: By use of an nternal swtch, the calbraton functon may be
locked (dsabled), and unauthorzed recalbraton prevented.
1. Wth the scale powered off, remove the back housng secton of the ndcator
by unscrewng the four screws at the bottom.
2. Slde the swtch on the PCB (marked SW3) to the poston marked “CAL LOCK”.
3. Reassemble the housng.
4. If requred, place tamper evdent sealng labels over the screw holes or over
the housng edges.
If later recalbraton s requred, the housng wll need to be reopened and the lock
swtch returned to the orgnal poston.
NOTE: When the lock swtch s set to the CAL LOCK poston, the power-on zero
range s reduced to 10% of full capacty.
