Clinically excellent
The sensor is individually calibrated to ensure the best achievable
accuracy. Hypoxia testing was performed, comparing the sensor on
listed pulse oximeters to arterial blood samples on reference CO-
oximeters. Other sensor attributes include:
• Backward compatible with Datex, Ohmeda and
GE SpO
2
technologies
• Drip-proof and able to withstand cleaning with 60% isopropyl or
90% ethyl alcohol if required
• Can be reattached to the same patient (sensor adhesiveness with-
stands re-attachment every four hours)
TruSignal Pediatric Adhesive Wrap sensors comply with:
• ISO 9919:2009 – Pulse oximeters for medical use – Requirements
• ISO 10993-1:2009 – Biological evaluation of medical devices
