Intuitive simplicity.
The iVent101 features an accessible design that benefits clinicians, patients and
caregivers.
In clinical settings, the intuitive user interface helps speed staff training.
At start-up, the patient type is selected using the touch screen interface,
allowing the user to optimize breath delivery, alarms and patient safety features.
The rich, enhanced touch screen interface includes:
• Exceptional user experience by adjusting the iVent101 to the clinical settings
the user prefers; set either the I:E ratio or the Inspiratory Time; work from a rich
prescription format that displays only the parameters the user needs including
automatic calculated values and setting conflict detection.
• Clean, crisp color display for easy and intuitive navigation.
• “View” selection feature to customize navigation: switch the display from basic
to clinical or from graphics to alarms, select or change modes – or dim down
the screen brightness at night.
Seamless flexibility, invasive and non-invasive
For patients experiencing respiratory failure or insufficiency, non-invasive
ventilation (NIV) is a first-line treatment in many hospital departments.
The iVent101 is a good choice for providing both invasive and non-invasive
ventilation, so if NIV does not prove to be efficacious for the patient, there is no
need to make any changes to the iVent101 or to the circuit - the ventilator can
be seamlessly switched to invasive ventilation.
The iVent101 support for single limb ventilation and a dual limb circuit
configuration allows the clinician to plan for a more comprehensive monitoring
solution with additional alarms for the more demanding patient.
