Replace the existing connection ends on your
tow bar with the offset triple lugs by following the
instructions below.
1. Lay the tow bar on a work surface. Remove the
existing connections.
2. Insert the offset triple lugs so that the UP decal
is to the outside of the tow bar legs and the
arrow is pointing the proper direction.
3. Insert the 1/2-13 x 2” hex bolt through the first
hole of the pivot connection on the tow bar leg.
Slide one 0.51 x .523 ID x 1.375 OD washer
onto the bolt followed by the offset triple lug
and another 0.51 x .523 ID x 1.375 OD washer
onto the bolt. Push the bolt through the second
hole of the pivot connection on the tow bar leg
and install the 1/2-13 Essna jam nut (see Figure
2 for proper installation).
