Sanding Sheets without Velcro Backing
(see figures C–E)

Press the release button 8 and keep it de-
pressed.

Guide the sanding sheet 7 to the stop under
the opened front clamping bracket 9 and let
go of the release button 8 again. Pay atten-
tion that the sanding sheet is clamped cen-
trally.

Press the release lever 5 and keep it de-
pressed.

Place the sanding sheet 7 firmly around the
sanding plate. Guide the other end of the
sanding sheet 7 under the opened rear
clamping bracket 4.

Hold the sanding sheet and let go of the re-
lease lever 5 to lock the sanding sheet.
Sanding sheets without holes, e. g. from rolls or
by the meter, can be punctured with the perfo-
rating tool 13. For this, push the power tool with
the sanding sheet mounted onto the perforating
tool (see figure F).
To remove the sanding sheet 7, press the re-
lease lever 5 and pull the sanding sheet out of
the rear clamping bracket. Push the release but-
ton 8 and remove the sanding sheet completely.
Selecting the Sanding Sheet
Depending on the material to be worked and the
required rate of material removal, different
sanding sheets are available:
Replacing the Sanding Plate
(see figure G)
The sanding plate 6 can be replaced, if required.
Unscrew the 4 screws 14 completely and re-
move the sanding plate 6. Attach the new sand-
ing plate 6 and tighten the screws again.
Operation
Starting Operation

Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage
of the power source must agree with the
voltage specified on the nameplate of the
machine. Power tools marked with 230 V
can also be operated with 220 V.
Switching On and Off
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch 1
and keep it depressed.
To lock the pressed On/Off switch 1, press the
lock-on button 2.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off
switch 1 or when it is locked with the lock-on
button 2, briefly press the On/Off switch 1 and
then release it.
