Saving Energy While Charging
the Device
You can turn off the device display and
all other features while charging.
1. Connect your device to an external
power source.
The remaining battery capacity
appears.
2. Hold for 4 to 5 seconds.
The display turns off, and the
device goes into a low power,
battery charging mode.
3. Charge the device completely.
Long-Term Storage
When you do not plan to use the
device for several months, remove the
batteries. Stored data is not lost when
batteries are removed.

Avoid chemical cleaners and solvents
that can damage plastic components.
Never use a hard or sharp object to
operate the touchscreen, or damage
may result.
Do not store the device where
prolonged exposure to extreme
temperatures can occur, because it can
cause permanent damage.
Cleaning the Device
1. Dampen a clean cloth with a mild
detergent solution.
2. Wipe the device with the damp
cloth.
3. Thoroughly dry the device.
Cleaning the Screen
1. Dampen a soft, clean, lint-free cloth
with water, isopropyl alcohol, or
eyeglass lens cleaner.
