audio to your phone. This is helpful
if you plan to turn off the nüvi, but
want to stay on the call or if you
need privacy. To switch back, touch
transfer audio to Device .
Mute Microphone—mute the
microphone.
Using Call Waiting
When you are on a call and you receive
a second call (call waiting), the nüvi
displays the Incoming Call window.
Touch answer to answer the call. The
first call is placed on hold.
To switch between calls:
1. Touch to open the In Call menu.
2. Touch Switch To .
3. Touch End Call to hang up; this does
not disconnect the call on hold.

Phone Menu
On the Menu page, touch to open
the Phone menu. Touch status to view
the connected phone’s signal strength,
battery level, and name.
notE: Not all phones support all
features of the nüvi Phone Menu.
Using Your Phone Book
It may take a few minutes for your phone
book to be available.
1. On the Menu page, touch .
2. Touch
Phone Book .
3. Touch the phone book entry (contact)
you want to call.
4. Touch Dial to call the contact, or
touch Compose to send an SMS/text
message.
