4.8 PCIe Expansion Card Installation (Optional)
To install a PCI expansion card, please do the following.
Step 1: Remove the back panel. See Section 4.4.
Step 2: Install the PCIe riser card. Insert the PCIe riser card into the PCI slot and PCIe
x4 slot on the motherboard of the system. Secure the PCIe riser card to the system with
two retention screws.
Step 3: Remove the expansion slot cover. The expansion slot on the I/O panel inter-
face is secured to the system with a single retention screw. Remove the screw.
