Take care to ensure that you select the correct drive. Data is destroyed during
disk formatting.
6. The screen will return to the FDISK Options menu. Select Create DOS partition or
Logical DOS Drive .
7. Select Create Primary DOS Partition.
8. When asked Do you wish to use the maximum available size for a Primary
DOS Partition type [Y].
9. The following message will appear: Primary DOS Partition created, drive
letters changed or added . Press Esc to continue.
10. The screen will return to the FDISK Options menu. Press Esc to exit FDISK.
Formatting the array
1. Reboot the computer to DOS with a bootable floppy disk.
2. When the A:\> prompt appears, type format d:
3. You will be asked if you want to proceed. Type Y and press Enter.
4. Formatting will begin.
