Setting the teMperatUre

Insert the temperature controller (5) with the temperature

scale up into the connection (4). Set the desired tempera-

ture and let the device warm up for 4 – 6 minutes. The

temperature selected depends on the food to be prepared.

Choose high temperatures for meat and lower tempera-

tures for seafood and vegetables or if you simply want to

keep the food warm.

tUrning the grill platter

In the event you wish to turn the grill platter (2), set the

temperature controller to OFF and disconnect the table grill

from the electric grid. Thoroughly clean the side of the platter

that was used with the cleaning scraper (8).
Hold the grill platter (2) and the handles (3) firmly and turn

it over. Now you can reconnect the table grill to the electric

grid and continue to grill.
CAUTION: The grill platter (2) needs some time to cool; for

that reason, only handle it by the plastic handles (3).

helpfUl advice

– You will achieve the best results if you use meat of even

thickness and of good quality.

– The item to be barbecued should be at room temperature

when you place it on the grill.

– Frozen food does not grill well and can get tough during

grilling.

– Work with lower temperatures if you are cooking sensitive

food like chicken, fish or vegetables. Use a higher tem-

perature setting for grilling thicker food like red meat.

– For stronger flavour, you can marinate meat in oil or

wine. To marinate fish, a mixture of oil and lemon juice

works well.

– Cut the meat for placement on skewers into cubes of

approximately 2.5 cm size.
