Before Use
System Requirements
In order to use the CRW2100SX drive, your computer system will need to meet
the following set of requirements.
n The CRW2100SX drive may not write at a maximum speed depending on your
computer’s system configuration.
PC/AT-Compatible Computer
CPU: Pentium II-class or higher, 300MHz or faster.
RAM: 32MB memory (64MB or more recommended).
n If you are using Windows 2000 operating system, you need 64MB or more memory.
A spare PCI expansion slot for a SCSI card (if one hasn’t been installed yet).
A SCSI card to connect SCSI devices (including the CRW2100SX drive) to your
computer. Make sure it has an internal bus connector. Yamaha recommends any
of Adaptec’s AHA-2940-series cards (PCI slot).

with it.
Operating System (OS)
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows NT4.0 with
Service Pack 3 or later, Windows 2000.
CD Writing Software
The CRW2100SX drive requires CD writing software to write onto a CD-R/RW
disc. When you use the CD writing software, make sure that it supports the
CRW2100SX drive.
