Enjoying surround sound
You can enjoy analog audio signals output from your TV
in real surround sound.

Before performing the steps below, set the volume of this unit to
30. If necessary, adjust the volume level in step 5 below.

Select the TV channel you want to watch.
To select a TV channel, use the remote control
supplied with your TV.

Set the operation mode selector to YSP.

Press TV.
This unit outputs audio signals from your TV.

If you hear sound from your TV speakers,
reduce the volume level of your TV until you
can no longer hear any audio being output.
To reduce the TV volume level, use the remote
control supplied with your TV.

Press VOLUME +/– to adjust the volume
level.

Press SUR. DECODE repeatedly (or press
SUR. DECODE and then press / ) to
switch between surround modes.
Signals input from 2-channel sources are played back
in multi-channels.
