Display the Word in Large Type
Press
to display the highlighted word in
large type. Once the Large-Type Screen
appears, you can perform any of the Large-
Type Screen functions for the selected word
(see page 19).
Display the Definition
Press
to display the definition of the
highlighted word* in the lower half of the
Word Selection Screen. Scroll through the
definition using
and . The arrows in the
lower right of the screen indicate in which
direction you can scroll to view more of the
definition.

*Notes:
• If the highlighted word is an
inflection or derivative of a
dictionary entry, the
corresponding dictionary entry
appears.
• If the highlighted word is the first
word in an idiom (which has been
scanned in full) the idiom and its
definition appear.
