Working with the tablet
Your Graphire4 pen tablet is designed to enhance the way you work. The middle area of the tablet is the
working, or active, area for the pen and cordless mouse. Rest your hand on the tablet and then work with
the pen on the active area of the tablet just as if you were using a ball point pen on a piece of paper.
Wherever you place your pen on the tablet active area, the screen cursor will jump to the corresponding
point on the screen. See

using your input devices on the tablet.
Your tablet also features customizable ExpressKeys and a tablet wheel located above the tablet active area.
By default, the ExpressKeys are set to simulate the F
ORWARD and B ACK functions within Internet browsers.
ExpressKeys . Press the keys to
move F ORWARD (right key) or
B ACK (left key) within your Internet
browser. You can also customize
the keys to perform frequently
used functions or keystrokes.
Tablet wheel . By default, the wheel is set
to S CROLL 3 lines per wheel notch in most
windows and applications. Move the
wheel forward to scroll up, and back to
scroll down.
Your tablet comes with a clear cover used to protect the tablet.
• You can customize from which direction the USB cable exits the cover.
Simply route the cable to exit from the appropriate gate in the clear
cover at the top or either side of the tablet.
