11.9.3 Receiving a DSC Position Send Call
When another vessel transmits their vessels location to the PS1000 the follow-
ing will happen:
1. When the Position Send Call is received, “ RECEIVED POS
SEND ” will appear on the LCD and a ringing sound will be
produced.
2. Press any key to stop ringing.
3. Press the [
] or [ ] key to see the name and posi-
tion (LAT/LOG) of the of the vessel transmitting the
Position Send Call.
