Before you read anything else,
please observe the following:
WARNING!
Uniden America Corporation DOES NOT represent this unit to
be waterproof. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or
damage to the unit, DO NOT expose this unit to rain or
moisture.
BATTERY WARNING
n This equipment contains a Rechargeable
Nickel-Cadmium Battery.
n Do not short circuit the battery.
n Do not charge the Rechargeable
Nickel-Cadmium Battery used in this equipment
in any charger other than the one designed to
charge this battery as specified in this Guide.
Using another charger may damage the battery,
or cause the battery to explode.
n Do not remove or damage the battery casing.
n Never throw the battery into a fire, disassemble
it, or heat it.
RECYCLING NICKEL-CADMIUM BATTERIES
NICKEL-CADMIUM BATTERIES
MUST BE DISPOSED OF
PROPERLY.
Nickel-Cadmium cells are used in the battery pack.
Please take your battery packs to a store that recycles
Nickel-Cadmium batteries.
