Checking the digital signal strength
You can check the strength of the digital signal by viewing the digital signal
meter.
To view the digital signal meter:
1.
Press MENU in the digital mode, then
press or to display the OPTION menu.
2. Press or to select DIGITAL
SETUP, then press .
3. Press or to highlight SIGNAL METER.
4. Press to check the digital signal strength.
5. Press MENU repeatedly until the menu
screen is cleared.
Note:
• The SIGNAL METER feature is not available
for analog channels.
• After approximately 240 seconds, the
SIGNAL METER screen will return to normal
TV-operation automatically.
• When you select a vacant channel, the signal
meter may react.
Using the auto shut off feature
If the Auto Shut Off is ON, the TV will turn off after approximately 15
minutes if it is tuned to a vacant channel or a station that completes its
broadcast for the day and stops broadcasting on that channel.
To use the auto shut off feature:
1. Press MENU, then press
or to display the OPTION menu.
2. Press or to highlight AUTO SHUT
OFF, then press or to select ON or
OFF.
3.
Press MENU repeatedly until the menu
screen is cleared.
Note: To return to normal viewing
immediately, press EXIT.
