The TOSHIBA HWSetup window appears with tabs for the
following:
❖
Display — Allows you to select the built-in LCD and/or
external monitor when the computer powers on.
❖
Boot Priority — Allows you to change the sequence in
which your computer searches the drives for the
operating system.
You can also manually choose the Boot Priority by
pressing the power button, then quickly pressing the
F12
key, or the right or left arrow keys.
Select the boot device by pressing the right or left arrow
keys or the
F12
key. Then press the
Enter
key.
Since the system is a quick-booting system, you must press
the arrow keys or the F12 key immediately after pressing the
power button.

Keyboard — Allows you to enable or disable the “wake-
up on keyboard” feature. The feature allows you to
“wake” the machine from Standby by pressing a key.
❖
USB — Allows you to enable or disable USB Legacy
Emulation.
❖
LAN — Lets you enable or disable LAN features.
❖
General — Shows the BIOS version, and allows you to
set BIOS defaults.
❖
Password — Allows you to set or reset a user password
for the power-on process and for instant security.
❖
Device Config — Shows the Device configuration
options.
❖
Parallel/Printer — Allows you to configure the printer
port type.
Choose the desired tab and accompanying options.
