Improved PowerFocus™ HD CRTs
These high quality CRTs, originally used only in HD pro-
jections TVs, are now being incorporated into Toshiba's
Analog projection TVs. They utilize Fine Phosphor, High
Beam Current, a Large Electrostatic Lens Area, and
Dynamic Quadruple Focus to achieve 10% More
Brightness and 25% Better Sharpness than Standard
CRTs for clear HD images. They also add DFine Hi-
Speed VSM for further improved sharpness and con-
trast.
Dynamic Quadruple Focus
While most CRTs can create a fairly precise, round
beam spot in the center of the picture, many create a
less precise elliptical beam spot at the edges and cor-
ners. Dynamic Quadruple Focus utilizes both horizontal
and vertical beam adjustment to ensure that even the
edges and corners also have a precise beam spot for a
sharp, uniform picture from corner to corner.
DFine™ Hi-Speed VSM
VSM adjusts the CRT scanning speed to create sharp,
well defined edges. DFine increases the scanning
speed by 80% for even greater detail.
TruView™
A suite of video circuitry that includes Black Level
Expansion, Fine White, Flesh Tone Correction, and Color
Detail Enhancer. This system ensures true colors and
more accurate picture detail, for a more natural and
realistic video image.
