And then you go on to assign the first drive letter for the CD-ROM drive(s)
used by the MSCDEX.EXE. In this case, Drive: F is reserved to the first
CD-ROM drive.

After confirmation, this installation program will modify both the
CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.
5). After all these are done, re-boot the system and the driver(s) will then be
auto-loaded.
