MAINTENANCE, CARE & CLEANING
CLEANING THE CONDENSER COIL
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following
TOOLS REQUIRED:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Stiff bristle brush
• Vacuum
Step 1
Disconnect power to unit. Take off lower grill assembly.
Remove phillips screws at the bottom of the grill.
Holding grill at the bottom gently pull out and down as
shown. (see illustration 1).
Step 2
Clean off accumulated dirt from condensing coil with a
stiff bristle brush and clean fan blade
NOTE
It may be necessary to use CO
2
or compressed air to blow
off any dust or debris from condenser coil. Use a vacuum to
clean up any debris.
WARNING
Do not bend or disrupt the refrigeration lines when cleaning
the condenser coil. TRUE is not responsible for damage
done to the condensing unit and refrigeration lines.
Step 3
Remove bolts anchoring compressor assembly to frame
rails and carefully slide out. (tube connections are
flexible)
Step 4
Lift W.R. Board cover above fan at plastic plugs and
carefully clean condenser coil and fan blade.
Step 5
After brushing condenser coil vacuum dirt from coil, and
interior floor
Step 6
Carefully slide compressor assembly back into position
and replace bolts.
Step 7
Reinstall grill assembly onto unit. Connect unit to power
and check to see if fan blade is turning.
