Using external display devices

2 Release the Fn key.
TECHNICAL NOTE: You can also change these settings using the
Display Properties box in the Control Panel.
Enabling different refresh rates
To include the ability to use the built-in display panel and
external video device simultaneously among your display
output options, you must first enable different refresh rates:
1 Right-click the desktop and click Properties.
The Display Properties window opens.
2 Click the Settings tab.
3 Click the Advanced button.
4 Click the Display Device tab.
