5.8.6. Setting the surface time notify alarm (FREE mode)
You can set a surface time notify alarm to indicate the length of the surface time before
a new dive. Suunto D4 starts counting the time automatically when you surface (at
0,5 m/1,6 ft).
5.8.7. Setting the sample rate
The sample rate controls how often the depth, time, and water temperature is stored
in the memory.
You can set the dive profile sample rate in free dive to 1, 2 or 5 seconds. The sample
rate for nitrox and air dives is 1, 10, 20, 30 and 60 seconds.
