Memory play (continued) / Auto Space function

Using the Auto Space function
(RC-475MD only)

It is possible to play back the MD with a silent
interval of approximately 3 seconds between
tracks.

Turning on the Auto Space function
Press the A.SPACE button while the MD-101A is
playing, stopped, or paused.
The A.SPACE indicator lights up.

Note:
• If the Auto Space function is turned on, the

display indicates “Auto Space” for three
seconds during the interval between tracks.

Cancelling the Auto Space function
Press the A.SPACE button again to cancel the
function. The A.SPACE indicator turns off and
the function is cancelled.
You can also use the Eject button or STANDBY/
ON button to cancel the Auto Space function.

Note
If the total playing time of the programmed tracks
exceeds 512 minutes, “---m--s” will be displayed.

Press the

button (or the

button on the remote

controller) to start Memory play.

When all stored tracks have been played,
the MD recorder stops, retaining the
stored tracks in memory.

To exit Memory play mode
When the MD recorder is stopped, press the
CONTINUE button on the remote controller (RC-
475MD).
With the RC-466S remote controller, press the
MODE button until “MEMORY” disappears from
the display.

Clearing the last track stored
Press the CLEAR or button on the remote
controller.
The last track in memory is cleared.
Checking the stored contents
To check the tracks stored in memory, press the

/

button when the MD recorder is

stopped.

Note
You can also use the Eject button, REC button or
STANDBY/ON button to exit Memory Play mode.
