REPEAT
REPEAT
The following operation is possible using either
of the following remote controllers:
RC-475MD (supplied)
RC-466S (supplied with the R-801A amplifier)
Repeatedly playing all tracks of an MD
Press the REPEAT button on the remote
controller just once.
The following operation is possible only when you
use the supplied remote controller (RC-475MD).
Repeatedly playing a section of a
track (A-B Repeat) (RC-475MD only)

While the track is playing, specify
the beginning of the section you
wish to repeat playing by
pressing the A-B button on the
remote controller (Point A).
Repeat play
Repeatedly playing a single track
When the desired track is playing, press the
REPEAT button on the remote controller twice.

While the track is still playing,
specify the end of the section by
pressing the A-B button on the
remote controller (Point B) a
second time.
Section A to B of the track will be repeated.
• If the REPEAT button is pressed during
Memory play...
Only the programmed tracks play repeatedly
in the programmed order.
• If the REPEAT button is pressed during
Random play...
The contents of the entire MD play again
repeatedly. The playing order changes each
time a random play begins.
Note
In Memory play or Random play, you cannot repeat
the currently playing track (REPEAT 1).
To stop the Repeat play
Press the REPEAT button once or twice until the
“REPEAT” indicator disappears.
Note
You can also use the Eject button, REC button or
STANDBY/ON button to stop the repeat of all tracks or
a single track.

To stop A-B Repeat
• Press the A-B or REPEAT button when a
section is in Repeat play.
The A-B Repeat mode is now canceled.
• Press the button when a section is in Repeat
play.
The A-B Repeat mode is canceled and play of
the current track stops.
Note
A-B Repeat cannot be used when the unit is in
Repeat (all-track or single-track), Memory, or
Random play.
