Changing your BlackBerry ID
password, username, and other info
You can change your BlackBerry ID first name, last name, username, screen name, password recovery question, and
password. If you change your username or password, you might be required to enter your new BlackBerry ID username and
password again in order to access some of the apps and services that use BlackBerry ID.
When you change any of your BlackBerry ID info, an email notification is sent to the email address that you use as your
BlackBerry ID username. If you change your BlackBerry ID username, the email notification is sent to both the email
address that you used as your old username and the email address that is your current username.
Change your BlackBerry ID password,
username, or other info using your
smartphone
1. On the home screen of your BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
2. Depending on your smartphone model, do one of the following:
• Click Third Party Applications > BlackBerry ID.
• Click Device > BlackBerry ID.
• Click BlackBerry ID.
3. Change any of the fields on the screen.
4. Press the Menu key > Save.
5. Enter your current BlackBerry ID password to save your changes.

1. On the status bar, tap > BlackBerry ID.
2. Next to the info that you want to change, tap .
3. Enter your new info.
4. Tap Submit.
5. Enter your current BlackBerry ID password to save your changes.
