Preferred Audio
Select the default for programs broadcast in multiple languages
(shown in channel information): English, Spanish, or French.
Max Battery
Turn on/off the Max Battery function. When turned on, the
unit will maximize battery life by changing the brightness to
60% and volume to 10 when using battery power. (You can
manually change these settings.) When the adapter is plugged
in, settings revert to the menu settings.
Power Save
Set your TV to enter standby mode after 3, 5, or 10 minutes if there
is no signal or program. Select Off to turn power save function off.
Menu Language Select English or Spanish for menus only. Default is English.
Menu Opacity
Select 60%, 80%, or 100% to see through menus (60-80%) or
keep them opaque (100%).
Time Zone
Select your time zone: Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain,
Pacific, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Note: If you don’t set the correct Time Zone, the EPG, channel
information, and automatic time will be incorrect, and will either
display the wrong time or not display at all.
Factory Reset
Restore the default factory settings.

Note: Channel data will not be reset. To reset channel data,
use Auto Channel Search menu (page 18). After Factory Reset is
complete, your TV will automatically restart.
HOT Menu
Your TV’s HOT menu allows you to quickly enter setup menus for CC (Closed
Caption), Audio, Sound, Favorites List, Input Selection, and Brightness.

Press and hold MENU on the TV for about two seconds or press the HOT
button on your remote to access the HOT menu.

Use the joystick or on your remote control to select one of the menu options.
HOT Menu
Mode Selection Select Analog, Digital, or External Input. Press to cycle
through options, and press to go to the selected mode.
Input Selection Select input source: TV Air or TV Cable.
CC (Closed
Caption)
Select a caption option: CS 1–6, CC 1–2, TEXT 1–2, or OFF.
Audio
Change the audio language of the current program (displays on
the menu if available; varies by program).
Sound
Choose Stereo, Left Mono, or Right Mono.
