storing a number in memory,
press

to answer the call.

After the call, begin again at Step

• To change a phone number stored

in memory, simply store a new
phone number in that location.

location number. A long beep
sounds. The phone number is

Entering a Pause
in a Memory Number

In some telephone systems, you must
dial an access code (9, for example)
and wait for a second dial tone before
you can dial an outside number. If your
phone is connected to one of these
systems, you might want to enter a
pause at the appropriate point when
you store a phone number in memory.

At the appropriate place in the number,
press

PAUSE

to enter a 2-second

pause.

P

appears. For a longer pause,

press

PAUSE

again.

Note: Each

PAUSE

entry uses one dig-

it of memory.
