■ Inserting a SIM card

Keep all miniature SIM cards out of small children’s reach.

• The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending,

so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.

• Before installing the SIM card, make sure that the phone is switched off,

disconnected from the charger and then remove the battery.

1. Press the back cover release button (1), open the back
cover from the top (2) and remove it.

2. Remove the battery by lifting it using the finger grip

(3). Open the SIM card gate by rotating it (4).

3. Slide the SIM card carefully into the SIM card slot (5).

Make sure that the gold-coloured connectors on the
card are facing downwards and that the bevelled corner
is on the right. Rotate the SIM card gate back to lock the
SIM card (6).
