5 The next screen asks whether the selected device requires authentication before it can
be used. Press
Yes
to continue with the authentication. If you select
No
, the device is
added to the list of know devices.
6 The next screen is a passkey prompt. You can either use the automatically generated
passkey, or change the passkey if you want. Press
Next
.. A success dialog is shown when
the authentiction has been successful. The device you have selected to be
authenticated can now be seen in the
Devices
list in the
Wireless Link
application.
7 To connect your Nokia 3660 to the PC open the
Connection Management Box
from the
Windows
Taskbar
. Select the device from the list and press
OK
. Your device will be
connected to the PC.
Since Bluetooth devices communicate using radio waves, your phone and the other
Bluetooth device do not need to be in line of sight. The two devices only need to be within
a maximum of 10 metres of each other, although the connection can be subject to
interference from obstructions such as walls or from other electronic devices.
There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth devices. Check with your local authorities.
The Bluetooth connection does not close automatically. You must close it from the
Bluetooth software on your PC. Close the Bluetooth connection when you stop using PC
Suite for Nokia 3660 in online mode.
Note: If you have problems connecting your phone to the PC, check that both your
Nokia 3660 phone and your PC are switched on and that you have selected the
correct communications port. See also the

Starting to use PC Suite
You can start PC Suite from the
Start
menu: click the Start button, select
Programs
and
point to
PC Suite for Nokia 3660
, and then click
PC Suite for Nokia 3660
.
