Common Radio Features
Send a Silent Emergency Alarm
Note: To exit emergency at any time, press and hold the
Emergency button.
2 Press and hold the PTT
button and announce your
emergency into the
microphone.
3 Release the PTT button to
end the transmission and wait
for a response from the
dispatcher.
4 Press and hold the
Emergency button for about
a second to exit emergency.
1 With your radio turned on,
press the Emergency button.
The display does not change,
the LED does not light, and
you hear no tones. • Display does not change
• LED does not light
• No tones

2 The silent emergency state
continues until you:
Press and hold the
Emergency button for about
a second to exit the
emergency state.

Press and release the PTT
button to exit silent
emergency and enter regular
dispatch or emergency call.
