The RS-232 port provides for initial configuration of the Model SN4400 series. The RS-232 port supports:

A management interface (such as HyperTerminal) that supports VT-100 terminals

FXS ports

The FXS ports provide for connection of up to 32 analog FXS devices on a 50- or 64-pin RJ-21X connector
located on the rear panel.
