12. Settings
Settings provide various functional settings of the phone itself. The tone, the
language, the wireless connection, the screen display, clock, answering mode,
etc. are set up in this menu.
12.1 Profile
Your phone has various setting profiles, for which you can customize the
phone tones for different events and environments. Initially, personalize the
profiles to your own like and then you only need to activate a profile to use it.
Available profiles are
General , Silent , Home , Outdoor , UserDef 1, and
UserDef 2 .
UserDef 1 and UserDef 2 are for you to define a proper name for the specific
situation.
Press Ok key ( Menu ) > Scroll down key (two times) > Shift right key
( Settings ) > Ok key ( Profiles ). Scroll to a profile and press Ok key
to activate the selected profile.
You can Personalize the profile you activated by selecting different Ring tone ,
SMS tone , Alarm tone , Keypad tone , and Power on/off Alert , WAN alert , and
Battery alert .
Press Left soft key ( Options ) and select Personalize . Scroll up and down
to select the one you want to change.
You may also Rename the profile by pressing the Left soft key ( Options )
and scroll down to Rename . Enter the new name you wish and press Ok key
to save the change.
