5.3 E-mail
The Dual Mode phone supports E-mail function via GPRS and WLAN. By set-
ting your Dual Mode phone, you can send E-mail to your E-mail account into
Internet even if you are not in your home or office. You can edit, send and
read E-mail by using your Dual Mode phone, and can also use PC to save or
delete your E-mail, the Dual Mode phone supports POP3 and IMAP4 E-Mail
Server.
Before sending and downloading an E-Mail, you need first do the followed
operation:
Apply for a new E-mail account or use your present E-mail account (Please
consult with your E-mail service provider.).
Please consult with your Internet operator or E-mail service provider about the
correct E-mail setting. You can also set by the E-mail configuration received in
the configuration message.
Then you can do the E-mail settings in your phone according to configuration
information provided by your E-mail service provider.
The E-mail functions include the following submenus:
Create e-mail
You can first edit E-mail and then connect the E-Mail server; and also can first
connect the E-mail server then write or send the mail.
1. OK key (two times) ( Messages ) > Scroll down key (two times)
( E-mail ) > OK key ( Create E-mail )
2. Input the recipient mail address and subject, and input Cc and Bcc mail
address if want to send the mail to others.
Information:
This function can be used only if it is supported by your network operator or
service provider. Only phones that offer compatible E-Mail feature can the
phone send or receive the e-mail normally.
