Sound playback without picture
To play sound only when you watch TV or when you playback
a cassette, you can switch off the picture. You will hear sound
only.
a Press the MENU button. The main menu appears.
b Select the line ’ Setup ’ with the menu buttons B or
A and confirm with the C button.

c In the menu ’ Setup ’, select the line ’ Sound only ’.
d Switch the function on or off with the D or C button.

Switch off function (SLEEP TIMER)
You can programme your set to switch off after a
predetermined period.
a Press the TIMER s button on the remote control.
b Select line ’ Sleep timer ’ with the B or A
button and confirm with the C button.
c Determine the time left until switch off in 15 minutes
intervals using the
B or A button.
D You can switch the function off with the
CLEAR e button on the remote control.
d Confirm with the OK button.
e To end, press the TIMER s button.
Switch on function (WAKE-UP TIMER)
You can programme your set to switch on at a predetermined
time.
a Press the TIMER s button on the remote control.
b Select line ’ Wake-up timer ’ with the B or A
button and confirm with the C button.
c Select the entry field with the D or C button.
d Enter the information with the B or A button or with
the number buttons 0-9 .
e In the line ’ ON ’, switch the function on or off.
f Press the OK button.
g To end, press the TIMER s button.
