17 Troubleshooting
Please be aware that new software may change the functionality of your receiver.
Should you experience any difficulties with the operation of the receiver, please consult the relevant section of this manual,
including this Troubleshooting section. If the problem cannot be solved, call your dealer or a customer service adviser.
The LED on the front panel does not light up.
The welcome screen does not display at first
installation.
No sound or picture but the front panel displays
the time or
No sound or picture but the front panel LED is lit
in red.
No sound or picture but the front panel LED is lit
in orange.
No picture no sound but the front panel displays a
channel number and name.
The remote control does not operate your
receiver.
The picture appears frozen and the remote control
does not operate your receiver.
On-screen display working but there is no reception

You use digital audio connection option A or B as
described in 7.1.3.
Check that the power cord with AC adapter is
correctly connected. Disconnect this cord and
reconnect it to ensure it is in place.
Check that the power is available at the wall socket.
Check connections at your TV set (HDMI, DVI or
YPbPr connection, and SCART connection).
Select the appropriate TV source (refer to your TV
user manual).
Press V-Output once to check the current receiver
output setting. If it does not correspond to the
actual connection to your TV set, press V-Output
repeatedly until the setting and connection match.
Press P+, P-, TV/RADIO, or any number key once
or twice to wake up the receiver.
Press P+, P-, TV/RADIO, on the front panel.
Press P+, P-, or any number key of the remote
control.
Check the connections at the wall socket and receiver.
Check signal quality using the Scan item of the
Premiere menu.
Press V-Output once to check the current receiver
output setting. If it does not correspond to the
actual connection to your TV set, press V-Output
repeatedly until the setting and connection match.
Check the SCART connections.
Make sure the receiver is on.
Make sure you are pointing the remote control at
the receiver front panel.
Check the batteries in your remote control.
Check that the receiver and remote control
configurations match: refer to paragraph 14.2.
Try setting your remote control again as described
in paragraph 14.2.
Press
on the receiver front panel for at least 5
seconds.Your settings will not be lost. Release the button
and wait for the LED to turn either red for “low power”,
orange for standby, or green for TV mode respectively.
You can then continue with normal operation.
Check all connections and cables.
Check all connections and cable.
Check signal quality from the Scan item of the
Premiere menu.
Change sound-pictures synchronisation

Lip Synchronisation) as described in 9.6.
