PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS

STANDARD INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

INCLUDES MODELS: PMWH8, PMCH8

NOTE: Max. storage space is 8”

(Panasonic 1/3” Camera Class with

Panasonic Fixed Focal Lens Series)

1. Remove contents from carton and open lid of the unit with barrel

lock key.

Note: key is removable only when lid is locked; see

Figure 1.

2. To access inside of the unit during mounting and adjusting the lid

can be temporarily propped open by using a screwdriver or similar

object in the manner shown in

Figure 2.

3. Position unit in desired location and mark spots of the four

mounting holes. For best results, use the actual housing to obtain

placements of mounting holes. The hole location diagrams are

for general references only.

4. Prepare spots marked on mounting surfaces as required by

applicable building codes before mounting the unit.

5. Pass electrical and video cables through the access hole on back

of the unit, or use any of the knockout hole(s), then secure unit in

place with appropriate hardware.

6. Complete electrical and video connections with camera before

attaching camera to camera bracket with the hex bolt.

Note:

Use with Class 2 power supply only.

7. To achieve desired camera position, adjust hex bolt and slotted

screw with proper tools.

Figure 3 shows the three directions in

which the camera & the bracket can be maneuvered.

Note: place

lens of the camera as close to viewing window as possible so as

to provide adequate room in the back for cables & connectors. In

addition, the use of a right angle coax connector is strongly

recommended as it greatly reduces strain on coax cable connection

with camera.

8. After tightening all fasteners close and lock the lid to complete the

installation.
