Taking Pictures with the Spot Mode

When this mode is selected, both autofocus
area and exposure will be set to spot mode.
This is suitable when you take pictures in
delicate light conditions and intend to spot on
a limited area.

[Preparation]
• Set the operational mode dial. (P25)

Set the REC mode dial to Spot mode

• The spot AF area

1 and spot metering

2 appears.

Center the subject in the spot AF
area.

Take a picture.

• The recording method is the same as in

“Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)”. (P29)
