Message alert
You can select whether or not the
message indicator on the handset will
flash when new messages have been
recorded (page 45). The default setting is
OFF.

Press {MENU}.

Scroll to “Initial setting” by
pressing {V} or {^}, then press {
>}.

Scroll to “Message alert” by pressing
{V}
or {^}, then press { >}.

Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select
“On” or “Off”.

Press {Save}, then press {OFF}.
Note:
L The message indicator will not flash for
new messages while the handset is in
use.

While message alert is on, battery
operating time will be shortened (page
12).
