You can delete several images/sound files selected from the nine-image
display at once.

In Q mode, turn the Zoom/f/y
lever toward f.
Nine thumbnail images appear.

Press the i button.
P appears on the images and sound files.

Use the four-way controller
(2345) to choose the images
and sound files that you want to
delete and press the 4 button.
O appears on the selected images and
sound files.
If you select an image and turn the Zoom/f/
y
lever toward y, the selected image appears in single-image display
as long as the lever is turned, enabling you to check whether you really
want to delete it or not. (The display returns to the nine-image display
when you release the lever.) However, protected images cannot be
displayed in single-image display.
Deleting Selected Images and Sound Files
(from Nine-Image Display)
Protected images and sound files cannot be deleted.
