ª Setting ISO Sensitivity
The ISO setting sets the cameras
sensitivity to light. The ISO setting can
be increased when you need to take
pictures in places where a flash may not
be allowed. The overall picture quality
will decrease slightly as the ISO setting
is increased.

Setting items
• DMC-LC80:

the brightness. (From [ISO80] to
[ISO400] when using the flash)
• DMC-LC70/DMC-LC50:

from [ISO50] to [ISO200] according to
the brightness. (From [ISO50] to

], ISO sensitivity is fixed to
[AUTO].
• To avoid noises, we recommend
decreasing the ISO sensitivity or
setting [PICT.ADJ.] to [NATURAL].
(P58)
• For the shutter speed, refer to P35.
• When ISO sensitivity is set to
[ISO400], you cannot use the burst
mode. (DMC-LC80)
• When the ISO sensitivity is set to
[ISO400], the recording interval may
become longer due to the process to
reduce picture noises. (DMC-LC80)
ª Changing the Picture Size
The smaller the picture size you select,
the more pictures you can store on the
card. In addition, a small file size allows
you to attach the picture to an e-mail or
post it on a website more easily.
If you select a larger picture size, the
printed picture will be clearer, especially
with larger sized prints.
