MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION

Transmission Oil

Oil Check

The transmission dipstick (1) is

located on the right side of the

machine near the recoil handle.

Check and change the lubricant

at the intervals outlined in the

Periodic Maintenance Chart

beginning on page 60.

NOTE: We recommend the use

of Polaris Premium AGL

Synthetic Gearcase Lube.

See page 106 for the part

numbers of Polaris

products.

1. Position the ATV on a level surface. Remove the dipstick and

wipe it clean.

2. Reinstall the dipstick completely, then remove it and check the

level. Add the recommended lubricant to bring the level into the

safe operating range. See Specifications beginning on page 103 for

capacity.
