An indicator light is not on

The Lexmark Printer Adapter Installation Software
screen does not appear
I cannot find the network settings of my computer’s
wireless adapter
My MAC address is not listed on the Select your N5
Wireless Adapter screen
My network is not listed on the Connect to the network
(automatic) screen
I do not know the hexadecimal format of my WEP key 27
Setup was not successful (My printer was not found
on the network)
The Lexmark printer software installation screen does
not appear
My network printer does not appear in the list of
available printers
There is not a Network button on the Results: No
Printer Attached screen
There is not an Install Selected Printer button on the
Network Configuration screen
My network printer does not print
If this indicator
light is not on:
Make sure the:
Power
Printer adapter power supply is connected
properly.
USB
USB cable connecting the printer adapter to
the printer is secure, and the printer is on.
Note: This light blinks to indicate that an IP
address is being assigned by way of DHCP
or that a print job is processing.
Network link
• Access point is powered on.
• Access point is configured for your printer
adapter.
• Printer adapter is within the appropriate
range for your access point.
• Network is operating properly. For
additional help, refer to your network
documentation or contact your network
administrator.
Note: This light blinks to indicate any
wireless network activity detected by the
printer adapter.
