Pull Hitch Operating Instructions
Refer to Figure 3-1:

See Section 2, “Pull Hitch Hook-Up” on page 16 for
hook-up instructions.

Turn transport valve “OFF” before transporting from
site to site. This will protect the seeder from being
damaged should the hydraulic system break.

At the field site, remove rear roller lock pin from park
position and place in field position.
4.
Turn transport valve “ON” as shown in Figure 3-2.
5.
Raise transport wheels to lower the seeder until it is
resting on the ground. Transport wheels must also be
resting on the ground to support some of the
seeder’s weight.
6.
Set tractor hydraulic lever to return lift cylinder to this
position each time the seeder is raised and lowered.
7.
With seeder and transport wheels resting on level
ground, readjust top center link on the Pull Hitch to
level the seeder from front to back.
IMPORTANT: Always operate seeder with transport
wheels on the ground and seeder level to prevent
dirt build-up and seeder damage.
