OUTPUT PROBLEMS
Machine often “noodle welds” (out-

amps) when running a particular
procedure
Machine won’t produce full output.
For no apparent reason, the weld-
ing characteristics have changed.
Auxiliary receptacle is “dead” — no
auxiliary voltage .
The PowerWave is triggered to
weld, but there is no output.
1. Secondary current limit has
b e e n e x c e e d e d , a n d t h e
machine has phased back to
protect itself. Adjust procedure
or reduce load to lower current
draw from the machine.
1.
Input voltage may be too low,
limiting output capability of the
power source. Make certain
that the input voltage is proper,
according to the Rating Plate

machine.
2.
Input may be “single phased”.
Make certain the input voltage
