The KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500 can turn

your customer’s ordinary factory system

into the ultimate cruisin’ machine.

The KOS-L702 Touchscreen Powerhouse

The KOS-L702 is a 6.95 inch LCD touchscreen monitor that controls the
CarPortal™ KOS-V1000/V500 and offers customers the latest in touch-
screen technology. It works harmoniously with existing factory radios and
screens, or it can replace factory screens.

The KOS-L702 comes with a flush-mount trim bezel and offers flexible
installation options. It can be mounted just about anywhere—inside a
car’s interior, inside a custom mount, hidden away in the glove box. It
controls the functions of the KOS-V Series so users have instant access
to mobile entertainment, high-speed iPod control, Bluetooth hands-free
cell phone technology, satellite radio, navigation and more.

The KOS-L702 includes a shielded connection cable, hard key controls
for volume, video, Menu, etc., and direct select for sources like satellite
radio, navigation iPod, USB, video, HD Radio, DVD, etc., via the graphic
user interface from the KOS-V1000.

The KOS-L432

Space Saver

This year, Kenwood introduces the KOS-L432 4.3-inch touch-
screen monitor for use with CarPortal™. Paired with CarPortal™
KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500, the KOS-L432 offers direct select of satel-

lite radio, iPod, USB, Video, HD Radio, and more. Its compact size
makes it ideal for on-dash mounting in smaller vehicles as well as
where space for a video monitor is limited. The KOS-L432 includes a
7-meter shielded connection cable, a flush-mount bracket for custom
installations, and an AAMPS-compatible bracket.

Another example of CarPortal™ versatility!

Problem: If the factory radio is removed, the

customer loses the trip computer functions.

Solution: The KOS-L432 is mounted in the con-

sole, and the factory radio becomes another

source on the KOS-V500 or KOS-V1000.

With the
KOS-L702, the fac-
tory radio becomes
one of many sources
in the system.
