What is a Song?
A song is a series of patterns arranged in a particular order for play-
back. On the ESX-1, you can create and store up to 64 songs. In each
song, you can arrange patterns in a series up to 256 positions long,
and also record rhythms, phrases, and movements of the sound ed-
iting knobs.
What is Position?
On the ESX-1, “position” refers to a particular place in the order of
patterns that are recorded/played within a song; this is the unit by
which you will edit a song.
