Clamshell Design
The phone opens and closes like a clam shell. It
must be open to use any of the phone’s features.
When the phone is closed, the keypad is locked and
covered. You will hear the phone ring (if the phone
is on) but you must open the phone to answer the
call.
This feature allows you to keep the phone on, and in
your pocket or brief case, without accidently press-
ing any keys. Since the power button is on the
outside of the phone, the phone can be turned on or
off whether the phone is open or closed.
