1 When the phone is in Standby

mode, press

for a few seconds to lock the

phone.

Whenever you try to access
your phone,

displayed and nothing will
happen.

2 To unlock the phone:

Enter the phone’s unlock code
(see page 52)

Press

Result: The Standby mode menu

appears and you can use
your phone normally
again.

Locking/Unlocking the Phone

You can lock your phone completely.

Example: You want to prevent your phone from

being used if it is stolen.

1 Enter the menu system by

pressing

is displayed.

2 To lock the keypad, press

remains

displayed, until you
unlock the phone.

If you try to press any key

emergency number 112)
while the phone is on,
nothing will happen.

3 To unlock the keypad, press

for two seconds.

You can use the
keypad again

Locking/Unlocking the Keypad

You can lock your phone’s keypad so that any keys
pressed unintentionally while the phone is
switched on have no effect.

The keypad remains locked until you:
